Policies, Terms & Conditions for RNR Home Furnishings, LLC


WARRANTY:

RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, reserves the right to inspect and determine the cause on any and all claims of defects or damages.  Furniture is guaranteed against all manufacturers’ defects for a period of thirty (30) days from the original date the merchandise is delivered or picked up.  (Manufacturers’ guarantee will be different and usually for a longer period of time.  Ask store employee for details.) RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, will gladly work with manufacturers to facilitate the repair of such defects and restore goods to merchantable condition.  THERE WILL BE NO EXCHANGES.
Customer shall be responsible for paying all charges for repairs and transportation if not covered by warranty.  No guarantee is made as to wear or color-fastness of fabrics on upholstered pieces, or ticking on bedding.  RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, assumes no responsibility for any damages caused by customer handling and all warranties are voided.
Any item(s) sold “AS IS” does not have any warranty.  Lacquer, plastic, or painted finishes are not guaranteed for scratched or small nicks, as it is the nature of the product.

FURNITURE AND BEDDING FACTS:

Furniture is not perfect; display samples are indicative of what you may expect upon delivery or pick-up.  Since all upholstery fabric is cut at random match there is a possibility that the upholstery patterns will not exactly line up with each other at seamed areas.  Since no two pieces of wood are exactly alike, there is a possibility of variation of the coloring or graining even though identical finishing materials are used.  This is the nature of woods and is not a defect.  Atmospheric conditions or heat radiation may cause wearing or drying of wood finishes or lightening of fabric.  RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, will not be responsible for furniture pieces which do not sit level because of uneven floors.

DELIVERY:

ANY PROMISE OF DELIVERY TIME BY ANY EMPLOYEE IS ONLY AN ESTIMATE AND NOT BINDING.  Any statement or promises of special services made by any employee are not valid and may not be honored unless written on the Sales Slip, signed by that employee and approved by a manager.  RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, will assume absolutely no responsibility when it is found that the doorway, hallway, staircase, elevator, or any access point at a customer’s delivery address is too small or narrow to facilitate the delivery of the merchandise.  The customer is required to re-select other merchandise.  The customer is responsible to pay a  re-delivery/re-stocking charge if merchandise is undeliverable for any of the above reasons.

SALES ORDERS:

Payment in full is required before an order will be placed with the manufacturer.  An estimate of when we might expect the merchandise to arrive at the store, but this is only an estimate and non-binding.  We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, or for manufacturers’ discontinuations.  If buyer does not accept delivery/pick-up after thirty (30) days once notified of availability for such, RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, shall have the right to retain the payment(s) to cover the seller’s loss of profit and other costs and expenses incurred by the seller.  A Store Credit may be issued at management’s discretion. No REFUNDS will be given.

LAYAWAY:

Six (6) month LAYAWAY is available with a 25% deposit of the total Regular price of the item(s) to be placed on Layaway.  Sale price does not affect Layaway pricing.  Payments should be made on a monthly basis, if not more frequently.  Layaway items are subject to manufacturer availability.  If an item is discontinued between the time a Layaway started and the final payment, the payments must be applied toward another item or turn into a Store Credit.  NO REFUNDS will be given. 

STORE CREDIT:

Store Credits are issued for any of the reasons previously listed above.  Store Credits are good for up to one (1) year from date of issuance.  It is the responsibility of the customer to maintain their records and be aware of the expiration date.  Store Credits ARE transferable when the original customer transfers the credit in person, with proper ID, at the store.  Transference, however, will not   re-set the time table.

DELIVERY INFORMATION AND DISCLOSURE:

Customer is responsible for providing proper address, crossroads, directions, daytime phone number BEFORE delivery.
Customer is responsible to have the pathway to where the new furniture is going cleared so the delivery people can properly deliver the merchandise.  RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, employees will not be responsible to move any furniture, appliances, or other obstacles out of the way.
If your merchandise is not delivered on the scheduled delivery date and time window because you are not at home or do not accept delivery for any reason, you will be charged for re-delivery and may be subject to a re-stocking fee.
RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, does not haul away old furniture.

PICK-UP INFORMATION:

If you chose to pick-up your merchandise, RNR Home Furnishings, LLC, assumes no responsibility for any damages caused by customer handling and all warranties are voided.  If merchandise is not delivered by one of our independent outside contractors or store delivery people, costumer will be responsible for transportation to and from repair facility/store.  Items not purchased off the showroom floor come new and in boxes.  Assembly may be required.  New items in boxes will not be put together unless payment arrangements are made in advance.

OTHER TERMS:

NO C.O.D. PAYMENTS.  
Floor models are sold “AS IS”.  
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
All customer pick-ups must have original receipts and must be original buyer(s), unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
